Class 7 (English assignment)
Passage:
The Power of Teamwork
In a small village,
there lived a group of farmers who always competed with one another. Each
wanted to grow more crops than the others. One year, the weather was harsh, and
most of the farmers struggled to grow enough food. However, one farmer named
Ramesh suggested that they work together instead of competing.
At first,
the others refused, but later they agreed. They shared their tools, worked in
each other’s fields, and helped one another during planting and harvesting. By
the end of the season, their crops grew healthier and stronger than ever
before.
The farmers
realized that teamwork and cooperation could bring more success than working
alone. From that year onward, the entire village worked together, and no one
ever went hungry again.
